POTTERY Glazing

This is a workshop where you become the artist and glaze (paint) one shape of your choice. I will explain a various technique to apply these specially formulated underglazes and once dried, you will apply a clear glaze on top of your creation which will give it a glass finish and make you creation food safe.  Choose from a bowl, mug, tumbler, small plate etc.  Large 38cmD platters, $45 extra, are available on request.  Extra pieces may be purchased to glaze from $30.

After this workshop, you will leave your creations with me to dry and kiln fire.  I will contact you in about 1-3 weeks for you to collect your treasures.

And it was a wonderful class 🙂 thank you so much for organizing such a special occasion for Adele. All the girls had a wonderful time, and I look forward to coming back soon to pick up the product of their creativity. Tarsha x

We had such a fabulous time; what a great experience- really fun and creative. Jens wonderful at giving all sorts of ideas and providing tools to help bring on creative ideas. Can’t wait to see the end product but really enjoyed the process of just being there and bringing the ideas to light. Posted for Fifi and Clementine.

Lovely day had by all! Two young artists couldn't wait to eat off their very own plates! They even washed their plate in-between dinner & dessert so they could reuse it!! They are very proud of their designs & thrilled they got to see a real-life artists studio 🙂 Diana G
